This is a very special trike tour experience indeed. We feel very privileged to be able to offer a tour at this privately owned historical momument. We have been granted special permission to allow us to cruise through the grounds, following tree lined avenue to the heart of the ruins. Once within the peaceful cloisters a specially prepared Afternoon Tea picnic hamper supplied by Jervaulx Tearooms is enjoyed whilst sitting within the Abbey's ruins. A most tranquil and romantic experience.

Our award winning Afternoon Tea hamper is supplied by Gayle and Anna owners of Jervaulx Abbey Tearooms and taken late afternoon in the heart of the ruins of the privately owned Jervaulx Abbey.  A rare privilege granted to Yorkshire Trike Tours by the owners, the Burdon family.

Judith's Review: A swift escape from Skipton along route A65 to Settle, via several villages on the way. This route follows the canal and there are views galore, which way to look? Then the road takes you through Ribblesdale. Horton in Ribblesdale is almost a surprise as it pops up, just before encountering the awesome viaduct. Arriving in Hawes and the famous Wensleydale Cheese Factory there is a stop for light lunch and time to taste (and buy) some amazing cheeses. Onwards up through Oughtershaw and over Cam Fell. Now are amazing fell views and the fascinating mix of barns in Upper Wharfedale, following the early stages of the River Wharfe on a beautiful drive back to Skipton.
