Just to let you know Andrew and Kate were totally blown away with the experience of their Trike Tour today..They though it was absolutely brilliant, so well thought, planned and delivered with passion. Thank you. We'll be back.
Hi Yorkshire Trike Tours
Our excellent holiday in the Yorkshire Dales at The Dairy in Newbiggin, was raised further by my wife treating me to a Yorkshire Dales Trike tour as a birthday present from a leaflet provided by Cottage in the Dales in our Arrival Pack. I don't get out a great deal locally unless I use my mobility scooter which is commented on by local children, dog walkers and passers-by, but just the view of Jason’s fantastic trike just blew me away. It is like my scooter on steroids!
Jason and his good lady Judith rediscovered their lives after being inspired by Billy Connolly’s World Tour of England. They purchased a low rider trike to enjoy the local scenery. Jason doesn't immediately strike you as someone who might me hospitable, generous or gentle as first impression is a ‘Hairy Biker/Hells Angel’ type but the truth could not be further away. Jason's courteous understanding of customers’ needs combined with his unchallenged knowledge of the Yorkshire Dales, together with the generosity with which he showed us the sights and experiences we just could not have seen in any other way. Jason is a credit to God’s Own County.
Marian loves to walk but because of my physical restrictions with MS I am normally either driving or watching from afar, so the ability to experience and enjoy the Yorkshire Dales together was amazing. Jason's constant commentary describing the hills and dales and historic events, displays a deep knowledge of his beloved countryside. All around the tour, which took over two hours, we were waved to by people who obviously recognised Jason and his trike. We can see he is a beloved part of the scenery and I, for one, would encourage anyone who has not tried this way to see the Yorkshire Dales to put aside their inhibitions and get on board.
Best Regards, Steve Uzzell, Essex.
Dear Judith & Jason,
Hi Jason, this is a personal thank you for the excellent tour last Friday. As you know this was a surprise 70th. birthday present from my son Darran and to say we enjoyed it is something of an understatement. You personally enhanced the experience with your local knowledge and wit. I will be telling my friends about it in glowing terms. I will be putting an entry on TripAdvisor too. I believe Darran intends to contact you also possibly directly or via Facebook and/or TripAdvisor perhaps including photos and maybe videos. So thank you again for a truly great experience, your personality shined through and it was a pleasure to meet someone who is a true Yorkshireman and has such pride in being so. Kind Regards Derek Booth
Dear Judith and Jason, just a short note to say thank you so much for helping us arrange and then have our tour yesterday. Sylvia and I enjoyed it very much and it was a great way to start her birthday celebrations for later in the year! We hope to see you again soon. Many thanks once again. Regards Rob Wilson.
Dear Judith, Sorry for not coming back to you earlier. Yet again we had a fantastic day out with you. Jason even brought the sunshine out for us when he arrived (made Margaret’s birthday that bit better). It’s really nice that he has such a lot of knowledge about the area and we can talk to each other as we travel around. The visit to Ravenseat was excellent and Amanda came out to talk to us even though she was busy serving tea and scones to quite a lot of other visitors. Great lunch at the pub in Ravenstonedale. Thank you once again for an exciting day. We have left another review for you on Tripadvisor. Regards Derek and Margaret
Hi Jason, It was all over our Facebook accounts yesterday but will continue to give word of mouth to everyone we see. We both loved it. Wish I had money to buy a big tour. Michael our driver was charming, funny and great company. He had just the right amount of facts to make it interesting but not out face you and could answer the odd question when asked. From me it is a five star experience. Regards Helen Kirsopp
Hi Judith, just to say we had a great trip today. Thank you for your flexibility in changing the day. Michael was a great host and a thoroughly nice chap. I'm sure we'll give it ago again sometime in the future. Christine was thrilled with it as a birthday present. Regards Peter England.
Hi Judith, Jason and of course Michael.
We would just like to say thank you for a fantastic tour last Saturday afternoon. I couldn't believe my eyes as the trike came in to the car park. When Michael introduced himself and sorted out all the health and safety stuff we knew we were going to have a good time. I (Clive) had never been on a bike before and it was a thrill to be allowed to sit in the driving seat. Michael told us to wave at people, and Jean told me to nod at other bikers, that was so funny, the look on peoples faces. Michael bought us a coffee and showed us around a trout farm. We found that very interesting as we have a fish pond at home. We have never laughed and grinned so much before. We have showed our photos to work mates and friends. Jean has put some on face book as well, well we had to make sure all our friends saw them. We are definitely coming back for more tours...need more fixes ha ha. Going to add a few pictures for you.
Thank you once again. Clive & Jean Hardy.
